ISIS Conducts Special-Force Training in Camps Across Europe

Liputan6.com, Jakarta - 11 days following terrorist attacks in Sarinah Thamrin, Jakarta, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak went to hold a Conference on De-radicalization and Countering Violent Extremism as the fear becomes more apparent than ever over the likeliness of rampant widespread and continually growing prominence of the infamous terrorist network Islamic State (popularly known as ISIS/ISIL) within South East Asian region.

Prime Minister Najib Razak sought to exploit every method necessitated for the assurance of safety of all Malaysian citizens from ISIL’s ideology which evidently has grown in influence within Southeast Asia and prevent the country from being “open to infiltration”.

“All of us has a role to play, and if everyone plays the role with pure and sincere intentions to ensure our beloved country remain peaceful and safe from terrorist threats, then God willing, by His blessing, Malaysia will continue to be protected and safe,” he stated as cited in Malaysiakini.com.

Head of Malaysian Police’s Counterterrorism unit Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay spoke to Al Jazeera about how seven potential plots have been threatening the country since February last year and in the absence of “excellent intelligence gathering and pre-emptive operations…it was impossible to prevent every possible attack as no enforcement agency can provide a 100 percent guarantee that such an attack will never take place”.

It has been learned that out of hundreds Malaysians who have travelled to Syria, eight have returned home and plan to wreak havoc under the instruction of alleged mastermind Jakarta terror attack Bahrun Naim and Malaysian ISIL recruiter Muhammad Wanndy Muhamed Jedi to carry out three day mission operated across the country.

"We've seen one attack now in Jakarta - fortunately not very professional and fortunately not as many people killed as it was clear the terrorists hoped - but massive publicity and I think we need to understand that it's that publicity that turns the failure into a success," said Security analyst Sidney Jones to Al Jazeera.

Citing from Telegraph.co.uk, the terrorist network ISIL has been secretly setting up training camps across Europe and Balkan countries to prepare its jihadists members the needed “survival training and sports activities… for combat and interrogation resistance”.

Terror group ISIL has set up secret training camps across Europe to prepare fighters to carry out “special forces style” attacks in the UK or other EU countries, Europol has warned.

Europol has warned that the group will soon be equipped with special forces style of combat knowledge and its recent video which indicated UK as their next potential target due to Britain’s move to join airstrike in Syria “shows its capacity to strike at will, at any time and at almost any chosen target”.
