Lorde Sibuk Siapkan Materi Album Baru

Liputan6.com, Jakarta Peyanyi asal Selandia baru, Lorde, dikabarkan sedang sibuk menulis materi untuk album baru. Seperti dilansir NME, belum lama, ia sedang bersiap menghasilkan karya baru setelah pada tahun 2013 lalu merilis album perdananya Pure Heroine.

Lorde pun mengungkapkan kalau ia lebih suka menulis lirik terlebih dahulu sebelum dijadikan sebuah lagu.

"Aku lebih suka menulis lirik dulu sebelum menambahkan musik ke dalamnya.. Aku telah menulis banyak hal dan akan menjadikannya musik," ungkap Lorde.

Penyanyi yang belum lama ini mendapat nominasi Golden Globe ini juga mengungkapkan bahwa ia tidak tahu apa yang akan harus diharapkan para penggemar terhadap album barunya.

"Aku tak peduli. Kau harus jadi orang yang berbeda dan membuat rekaman yang berbeda," ungkapnya.

Lorde mulai dikenal publik dunia lewat lagu Royals yang menjadi hits hampir di seluruh belahan dunia. Lorde juga pernah menggarap soundtrack film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay dimana ia dinominasikan untuk kategori Best Original Song in a Motion Picture berkat lagunya Yellow Flicker Beat.
