Liputan6.com, Jakarta Angeline's case has now entered another level with verdicts from the police suggesting the transition of Angeline's foster mother, Margriet Megawe from being a secondary suspect for child negligence to now being the prime suspect of the overall murder.

Officer Ronny F Sompie accused Margriet as the leading perpretator behind her foster daughter’s death.

Despite such growing assumption however, Officer Ronny claims that such accusation cannot yet be backed up with information regarding her motives.

Police currently investigates whether or not the murder was planned in advanced.

"It is still being processed. We will maximize our investigation process so that we can provide the public with the most coherent information regarding the person behind Angeline’s death and the reasons that drove the killer into doing such malevolent act," Officer Ronny explained, Monday (29/6/2015).

Ronny further explained how Margriet will face life time in jail if there are enough evidence to support the notion of Angeline’s murder as a planned one.

Margriet Megawa has been named as the prime suspect of Angeline’s murder by Bali police on the night 28 June 2015.

Police force was immediately assured of her dominant involvement in the murder following the results of her forensic test and supporting evidence recovered.

Eight-year-old Angeline was reportedly missing since 16 May 2015, before police finally located her deceased body buried down 0,5 metre deep in his foster mother's yard.

Angeline has spent the rest of her life with her foster mother, Margaretha Magawe and resided in Bali.

Bali Police Officer, Ronny Franky Sompie informs how the discovery of Angeline's body was primarily due to the intensive investigation of his team in her foster mother's home.

Angeline's foster mother refuse to make any comments about it, and has been showing a particularly introverted gesture by not allowing anyone to enter her home including the Indonesian Minister of Women Empowerment and Children Protection, Yohana Yembise.

The death of Angeline is a tragedy that will never be forgotten. As the story develops, now local police has reportedly named Margriet Megawe, Angeline's foster mother as a suspect. (Akp/Ein)
