Liputan6.com, Jakarta Italian President, Sergio Mattarella’s imminent state visitation to Indonesia is a special occasion eagerly awaited by key players in various sectors.

Leading figures in the Indonesian specific fields of trade, industry, business, communication devices and energy will be graced with privileges of getting acquainted and discuss possibility of collaborating with Italian business counterparts which reportedly will be accompanying President Mattarella during his state visit here.

“There will be the presence of about 30 Italian companies in different sectors but especially infrastructure, energy, and on the maritime affairs,” he stated.

“It is the excellent selection of Italian companies with unique and advanced technologies,” he further stated.

According to him, Indonesia’s continuously vocalized pursuance of its maritime ambitions and dimensional- goals gives enough reason for Italy to make furtherance of cooperation in the related field.

“Since Indonesia has now launched policy of maritime focused or maritime dimension, well Italy also is a maritime country, we have tradition in maritime affairs so we can cooperate on that,” he explained in excitement as he identified such growing kinship.

Italian President Sergio Mattarella will also be accompanied by his Minister of Economic Development whose responsibility hitherto is to address issues and cooperative desires in trade, industry, telecom and energy. (Akp/Rie)
