Liputan6.com, Jakarta Indonesian Attorney General, HM Prasetyo reaffirms the fact that there will be no cancellation to Mary Jane Fiesta Veloso's execution.

Once all of her legal proceedings in Philippines is done, then we will start thinking about the appropriate date of her execution here in Indonesia.

"No postponement, no cancellation. As I have mentioned before, we will wait for her to sort out her case there in Philippines. This is because we respect their legal system," Prasetyo said on Friday (10/7/2015).

He further explains how even if Mary Jane is named as the victim of human trafficking, she still has to be executed in Indonesia.

"Even if she is the victim of human trafficking, she still has to face the fact that she needs to be executed for something she did in Indonesia," he informed.

The Indonesian authority captured Mary Jane Fiesta Veloso as she was captured carrying a considerable amount of heroin.

She was initially enlisted in the second batch on the death row to be executed along with the Bali Nine Duo, Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran.

However, her execution was being postponed due to her government's needs of her presence to testify in other case involving human trafficking. (Akp/Ein)
